Product Info
- It is recommended to mount the wall posts to studs or blocking. Drywall anchors are provided for instances where studs or blocking can't be mounted to.
- Brass screws can sheer when under high torque. This can be prevented by predrilling with the appropriate size drill bit. Using a steel screw of the same drive size and thread count can also help prepare the screw hole without making the hole too large for secure mounting.
- It is recommended to have the outermost wall posts 1" from the ends of the shelving plank.
- Wall posts should be spaced no more than 36" to support heavier items, and keep the shelving plank from sagging. It is not recommended to exceed 25 lbs between shelving posts.
For units made from live brass it is important that you wear gloves while installing the unit as the oils on your hands will leave markings on the brass. More information on product care can be found on our Product Care page.
