General Questions

Our 1/4" rail is not individually listed as it is cut to length and polished per order. Please use our online Tipping Rail Builder for a full system including posts, rail, and mounting hardware; or contact us for a custom quote with rail!

Yes! Our talented team of machinists and crafters work hard to produce everything we sell.

We do not outsource any finished pieces, only raw materials at this time.

Please apply to our trade program here. Please review the page for more information on our trade discount policy.

Samples can be purchased here. If there is a specific sample you are looking for that you can't find on our page, or are interested in one of our wood samples, please reach out with an inquiry here.

At this time, we do not offer free samples to trade members, but the cost of samples can come off the final invoice for your unit. Please make sure to mention this to your sales representative.

Our shelving units use 5/8", 1", and 1-1/4" diameter tube. Please see the product listings of each type of shelving for the specific sizing each unit uses.

We do not sell rail or tubes A La Carte as all of our rails and tubes are cut and polished from our 144" stock lengths. Please use our online builders for a full system including the fittings, rails/tube, and hardware you will need for your system.

If you can't find what you are looking for, please reach out and we are happy to help!

When using our builders, please round up to the closest inch and specify the exact shelf length for tipping rails, or the exact overall height you are looking for with a note at check out and we can fabricate accordingly.

If you need further assistance regarding this matter, or have a size over 72", please reach out for more specified assistance.

The shelf height on our Origin, Cantilever, Tuscan, and Hold style units are adjustable and can be determined by you! Our Minimalist style units do not have shelf height adjustability due to the holes drilled into the vertical tubes. All units come disassembled for flat packing purposes and shelf height can be determined upon assembly and installation. Please be aware that the set screws do leave a mark on the tube, which might be visible if you adjust your shelf.

Yes! Our business works out of a semi custom fabrication shop with an automated CNC machine. We are able to make most profiles, but please let us know what you are looking for and we can see what we can do for you!

Cut and polished tubes, custom fittings and components are non-refundable. Stock fittings and components will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Items may be returned in the packaging they arrived in. Please take care to properly pad the items and seal the packaging.

Any damaged goods that need to be replaced must be reported to us with photos within 10 days of receiving so that we can take the appropriate steps to report insurance claims and process your return. Please read our full Return Policy for more information.

Finish Questions

Our standard finish for our brass products is a brushed finish. This means that the brass is live, and has no coating or wax. Live brass will patina over time and should be handled with care when first received as the oils from your skin will patina the brass quickly. Learn more on our Product Care page.

We offer antiqued patina finishes for an additional cost. If you are looking to match a finish, please reach out with a photo reference so our team can advise on whether or not we can match this finish.

At this time, we do not. Most polished finishes are plated and we do not currently offer this service as all metal components are finished in house.

The beautiful of live metal is its ability to age over time into a richer color, but we understand that some people want a brighter finish. We can offer a protective clear coat for an additional cost. This coating may scratch off or degrade over time, as is the case with most metal coatings.

We recommend installing all brass with latex gloves to ensure no fingerprinting gets transferred. If you installed or touched your brass without gloves, it is likely the oils from your hards transferred to the brass and created 'dark spots'. This can be cleaned using Brasso and a microfiber cloth. Please see our product care page for more information.

Please note we do not recommend using other cleaners as they may have unwanted results such as darkening the brass unintentionally, or scratching the finish.

Orders, Fulfillment & Delivery

Please visit our Holiday Page for information on holiday lead time delays.

Our typical fabrication lead time is 6-8 weeks after payments to ship, but this may change depending on what projects we are taking on at the time. We will do our best to provide you with an accurate lead time. If anything comes up for any reason, we will be sure to let you know immediately.

Orders are typically shipped out on Fridays. Tracking information will be sent to your email on file when the package is labeled.

All glass is an additional cost provided from our vendor. All glass ships directly from our vendor to your destination.

Absolutely, shoot us a message and we'd be more than happy to help you start the process. In the meantime, check out some of our other work to get inspired!

There are two ways to order custom shelving; working directly with our team or designing your own shelving using our Custom Product Builder.

Working with us:
• Contact our team with your hopes and dreams

• Our team draws out your vision

• An estimate will be sent to you

• Upon your approval of the estimate, an invoice will be sent.

For larger orders a 50% deposit is required to begin production. An invoice for the final payment will be sent to you when your product is ready to ship

Our shop is capable of doing most customs projects, so we would be happy to help! Whether we are able to take on your project or not depends on our current lead times and project load. Send us any information you have, and our customs department will get back to you as soon as possible!

We will do our best to accommodate any hard deadlines if you let us know in advance. If you need a product sooner than our current lead times we offer a rush fee* to push your order to the front of the production unit. If you have any concerns about getting your order by a certain time, please let us know as soon as possible!

*Rush fees are based on the size of your order, your requested timeline, and our current production schedule.

Shipping is calculated at checkout. If you have any issues, please contact us.

Yes, we do! Please be aware that international orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT). Orders may incur tariffs as well. We are currently unable to provide expected costs for tariffs as these are applied at time of crossing the destinations border. Find out more in our Shipping Policy.

Yes! All of our orders come with tracking sent to the email associated with the order. This is the email you put in at check out, or ask us to associate with your order for custom invoices.

Please note that tracking typically provides a 'Master Tracking number', which holds all the tracking numbers of your packages. Please open the tracking number you have to see if there are multiple packages in your shipment.

Not to worry! Our shelving shipments are typically split up in at least two packages. One is a box for all the fittings and shorter tubes, another is a cardboard tube that has all of the longer tubes. We are not able to put all the components in one box for shipping, so we split them up into multiple packages for easier shipping.

Please check your master tracking number for the tracking numbers on the other packages in your shipment.

Please note glass is shipped directly from our vendor and does not go through us. Tracking for glass is provided as soon as we have it!

Installation Questions

Yes! Depending on how far the installation site is, we are able to accommodate most local installs with an added installation fee. Please contact us to confirm that your location is eligible.

Please see our instructional videos page for assistance on installation. We recommend following the shop drawing provided with your order to help assemble the unit.

Our shelves don't have a defined weight limit, but it is safe to say they can hold a lot of weight. Our shelves are frequently purchased for wet bars and liquor shelves, we have never had complaints of units collapsing under weight. How much weight your shelf can hold depends on the mounting location, we always recommend mounting it into blocking otherwise you risk ripping out drywall.

We recommend using this estimator for the load capacity for glass shelves.

Please note we recommend at least a 1" glass overhang on either side of the brass frame to ensure it is fully seated and supported by the brass.

The glass shelves sit on the brass fittings themselves and are designed to be sandwiched between verticals/fittings, preventing the glass from falling off the shelf. The glass does not tend to move out of place unless excessive force is being put on it, so please keep this in mind if you have any rowdy action near your shelving.

Glass bumpers are NOT necessary, but if you feel safer using them they can be applied on the brass fittings. We do not currently provide glass bumpers.
